Read below about our temporary arrangements for social distancing during Breakfast and evening Dessert

Cleanliness Requirements

We want all our Guests to know that we have always taken cleanliness seriously.  A clean room and bathroom that is completely sanitized is our normal practice.  From the disinfectants we use in the bathrooms, showers and Jacuzzi tubs to the laundry and dishwasher sanitizing systems! To protect our property and the Haus we have had no Guests since March 9th 2020 and feel confident that our environment is virus free.  However, before we re-opened all rooms, bathrooms, bedding and curtains were cleaned including the carpets. As an added precaution all rooms are further disinfected by using ultraviolet light and o-zone air purifiers until the pandemic is eliminated.

We are inspected by the Chelan-Douglas County Health Department routinely as part of our normal operational requirements and have never had a health violation.  When it comes to your health and safety we not only meet the rules but go beyond.  Our dishwashing system washes at 165 degrees Fahrenheit (F) with the final rinse at 190 degrees F.  The laundry system washes at 140 degrees F with Clorox sanitizer as a final cycle before fabricate softeners are applied.  For those wondering what we do for the pool and hot tub sanitation we have automatic chloride and bromide injection systems respectively and water quality and sanitation levels are checked daily and sometime twice a day depending on the bather load. However, the pool is closed presently as a result of strict health codes that limit how many can use the fcailities at one time.

Social Distancing Arrangements for Breakfast and Evening Dessert

Breakfast and desserts will still be provided but we are changing our layout until the pandemic is over.  Many of you have shared how much you enjoy our family style eating with the large tables which allows you to converse with the interesting Guests you meet, however we need to change that in the interim. Guests staying in the suites will not have the option of eating in the main Haus for breakfast to reduce the total number of Guests in the common area at one time.  For those in the main Haus, we are temporarily installing individual tables for couples and families to ensure we can provide the proper social distancing.  The maximum table setting will be one table to accommodate 6 family members with the rest of the tables accommodating up to 5 family members.  We plan to keep Guests separated but want families to dine together since you know your health conditions the best. Due to the limited space at the coffee bar we will serve you coffee the moment you take your place at your table.  To allow this new seating arrangement, the wood burning stove may be temporarily removed to accommodate the additional tables; yes it looks very different even to us!!  Hopefully by winter we'll be able to return to our family style eating arrangement and return the ambience of the wood burning stove that so many of you love.

If you want to know more to provide the greatest comfort during your next stay please call and we'll be happy to answer any of your questions.
